Eness Hostels was one of the many good decisions I made in 2023 :p Located barely 5 minutes (by 2-wheeler) and 20 minutes (by foot) from White Town on M.G. Road, the hostel has slightly smaller but neatly kept and clean dorms with an open terrace. The hosts are EXTREMELY helpful and patient while suggesting local spots and helping you figure buses to visit places a little outside of the main city. Throw 20 questions at them and they'll answer them all with the same smile and enthusiasm :') Lot's of old, local eateries are at walking distance and the hostel is right in the middle of the market area.

I stayed at this hostel in Pondicherry this February and overall had a good experience Location - The hostel is conveniently located, close to the Rock Beach and prominent places. While the market area can be a bit congested, its proximity to key attractions is a definite plus. Rooms - My room with 2 bunk beds was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the Pondicherry heat. Service - The two hosts are incredibly friendly and manage the place efficiently. Their hospitality made my stay enjoyable. Pricing - I found the pricing to be quite affordable, at around 1,400 for 2 nights. It's an excellent choice for solo travelers on a budget. Overall, this hostel offers a great combination of location, clean rooms, friendly hosts, and budget-friendly .

My stay at the Eness hostel in Pondicherry was very amazing. The kind and helpful receptionist gave good advice for visiting the region. The hostel's excellent location made it easy to get to everything, and I really enjoyed my time on the rooftop. Although I wish they had a cooker so that guests could prepare their own meals, I genuinely appreciate their kindness. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Best place to stay in Pondicherry with all the facilities at a reasonable price. They even have a kitchen with all the facilities to cook and have food. Dining area, washrooms, bedrooms are neatly cleaned. Well maintained rooms. Also have details about the places to visit sticked on their notice board. Safe for women travelors

Lovely place! The host and the service too! Nice location, walkable to White Town too. The rooms were clean with good air conditioning! A really good option for female solo travellers too.

Stayed here for 4D and 3N, very neat and clean. Washroom are also cleaned. AC rooms and hot water also available. Best thing about this is Location. Location is perfect it's very near to Rock / promenade beach (walkable distance). Walkable distance from pondicherry railway station also.

Very nice hostel. We visited from mumbai and arrived pondicherry around 7am. Early check in was not allowed as all rooms were occupied but we were allowed to use common area and washroom on the terrace also on the last day of check out too as our train was late. We also used their kitchen, terrace area and indoor games. Overall we had good experience with ENESS.

Sanjay was the most friendly and helpful receptionist at this hostel. Everything about the hostel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. The ambiance was good and great value for money and the service was attentive and efficient.
